reply matteo bateman on february , at : pm my home was built on a hill that his been graded flat. so no top soil. just hard dry dirt. last season i grew carrots, beets, corn, tomato's, grapes, sunflowers, dill, and peppers. corn was tiny as can be. nothing edible, grapes just leaves , beets were delicious
but small. sunflowers grew about a foot tall. flowers were tiny and destroyed by insects. carrots were about an inch long very cute. total crop was equivalent to one regular size carrot. tomato's came late but fairly good crop in a raised bed. nothing grew well on the ground. please help reply nataliya...
