but it won a bronze medal & a $ prize, presumably a considerable sum at the time. it would seem however that while he won the medal, he effectively sold the painting for that sum to the art institute. one 'sour faced?'...
the kahlua and the sour cream take me back...though what i really remember are all those 'brown cows' that i drank in my youth (kahlua and milk...yum!)...
